These are recent works by my Parsons students. They are apparently poster, logo, and book cover designs, but they are actually explorations into design relationships. The relationships between type, image, and space are the most valuable use of design study because such exploration brings in every other aspect of design and art for consideration, and it causes students to consider purposefulness and intentionality in their work. One of my favorite quotes is “A designer can do anything so long as it looks intentional.”
